Family Christmas Experience 2024

Our team has been working hard to get everything ready for "The Light of Christmas." Be at the church by 10am so that you can get your supplies together to be ready for the quest. You'll be led by a member of our team as you rotate from station to station which will include time for worship, a craft, an activity, a story, and a bouncy house! We cannot wait for your family to participate together.

Baptisms

Our next baptism Sunday will be on January 19th.

Our baptism class will be on January 5th at 10 am in Room 13. If you want to sign your child up for the next baptism class, please contact Brenna (our Children's Ministry Pastor) at [email protected].

Fortify

This is our mid week group for 4th and 5th graders. Our goal is to give these 4th and 5th graders more tools on how to read the bible, defend their faith, pray and many more things that are needed to deepen their faith.

We meet the second Thursday of every month @4:00pm-5:00pm at Mercer Creek in the Mt. Stuart Room (outer building next to the gym).

Dedicating your Child

I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. (1 Corinthians 3:6-9)

Child dedication is a commitment between your family, God, and the Mercer Creek Church Body. It is the start of a journey where we plant and water seeds and God forms those seeds into fruit! The Mercer Creek family thinks it's great that you are considering this step! Know that this is important to God. He will be with you and will equip you every step of the way.

We want to celebrate, pray, and prepare with you as you dedicate your child. To do so, there will be a short meeting with all the families to connect and receive some training, and then we will be ready to dedicate your child.
